Abstract:Wuthering Heights is the representative work of famous British woman novelist Emily Bronte. By describing the complicated world of two generations, it deeply explores humanity which is a permanent theme for human being and displays the dirty and beauty of humanity in the main characters o f the two generations. Through this novel Emily expresses her anger towards the cruel social reality as well as her firm belief that the good humanity will finally come back.
The first part of the paper is a brief introduction about the book and its author. It also contains some comments about the book. The second part is a brief description about Heathcliff. The third part analyzes in detail why Heathcliff becomes a devil. At last, the forth part is conclusion about the paper.
