Abstract:The paper makes a comparative study form the referential and pragmatic accuracy, phonetic beauty and form about ten translation of Pound's poem “In a Station of the Metro” with methods of translation criticism. By comparative analysis the failure and success of these versions, the author points that Xu Yuanzhong’s “Three Principles of Beauty” is suitable for the translation of poems, but in practice, the application of beauty in sound and form can not be pursued too high, only properly. Nevertheless the most important task for translators is faithfulness, which must not ignore the accuracy because of pursuing the “three Beauties”.

摘要:本文结合翻译批评方法对庞德的诗歌《在地铁车站》的十个中文译本从语言准确性，音美和形美三个反面进行比较分析。通过讨论译本的得失，最后提出许渊冲的三美原则适合于诗歌翻译，但在实际应用中音美和形美无法追求过高，只能要求尽可能的贴切。而且译者的最重要任务是忠实，切不可因为追求“三美”而忽视了翻译的准确性。所以诗歌翻译不应局限于某一翻译方法，译者必须结合诗作具体分析运用多种翻译方法才能使读者更好的了解诗歌。
