Abstract: This thesis takes translator Xu Yuanchong as the case study object of translator’s subjectivity. It takes his poetry translation as an example and demonstrates translator’s subjectivity from its three characteristics-purpose, passivity and subjective initiative. The paper points out some deficits in this study in order to make an objective comment on role of translator’s subjectivity and states that this case study will accelerate the development of the study on translator’s subjectivity.

摘要：本文以翻译家许渊冲作为译者主体性个案研究对象。文章以其诗歌翻译为例，从为我性，受动性，能动性三大特征来论证译者主体性在具体翻译实践中的彰显。最终本文指出研究之不足从而对其译者主体性的发挥做出客观评价，并且表明这一微观研究将会推动促进译者主体性研究的发展。
