Abstract: This study aims to investigate the return of Chinese traditional festivals under the impact of Western culture. Festivals reflect the traditions of the people, so they are the extremely important part of a culture. As China steps up to the outside world, Chinese people, especially the young are becoming increasingly interested in Western festivals. However, some traditional festivals in China are left out in cold. This is an urgent problem that needs to be solved. This paper discusses the present condition of Chinese traditional festivals and Western festivals, and find out the reasons why such phenomenon could appear. Meanwhile, it discusses the methods to the problem and analyzes the future of Chinese Traditional festivals.

摘要： 本文旨在研究中国传统节日在西方文化冲击下的回归。传统节日是文化的一个重要部分，而随着中国对外开放和改革的逐渐深入，中国人尤其是年轻人开始对国外的节日产生浓厚的兴趣，一定程度上导致了中国传统节日遭受冷落。这是中国传统节日乃至传统文化面对的一个巨大挑战。本文阐述了传统节日和西方节日的现状，挖掘了西方节日受欢迎和传统节日受冷落的各种原因，讨论了面对这些情况应该采取的措施，并分析了中国传统节日的未来走向。
