Abstract: Robinson Crusoe, one of Daniel Defoe’s masterpieces, is a novel about adventure which tells the story of the hero Robinson who was deserted in an isolated island, changing from a coward to a brave. The thesis is to analyze the changing process of Robinson’s character, the reasons for the change and the influence of character on individual. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is the brief introduction to the author and the novel. The second part is the analysis of the changing process of Robinson’s character which contains three stages. The third part is the analysis of the reasons for the change, including internal and external aspects. The last part is the conclusion, which summarizes the whole paper and explores the influence of character on individual.

摘要：《鲁宾逊漂流记》是丹尼尔.笛福的杰作之一，它是一部关于冒险的小说,讲述主人公鲁宾逊流落荒岛，从最初的懦夫变成世人眼中的英雄。本文旨在研究鲁宾逊性格变化的过程，分析其原因，以及探讨性格对个人的影响。全文共分为四个部分，第一章是引言部分，简要介绍小说作者和小说内容。第二章是分析鲁宾逊的性格变化的三个过程。第三章分析鲁宾逊性格变化的内部和外部原因。最后一章一方面总结全文，另一方面探讨性格对人的影响。
