Abstract:This thesis presents an analysis on translation of English advertising discourses on Google. For the booming market of Internet Advertisements, numbers of foreign enterprises broadcasted advertisements in Chinese Internet market. In order to conduct a data-driven study, the author forms a collection of more than 50 English advertisements on Google. It is hoped that through this collection to make a further careful analysis of translation methods of advertising discourses and characteristics of English to Chinese translation based on lexical features, discourses features and Internet Advertising language features. This thesis will be presented in six parts. The first part is the introduction and the last part is the conclusion. The heart of the thesis is laid on four middle parts which respectively analyze translation methods of advertising discourses, lexical features, discourses features and Internet Advertising language features.

中文摘要:本文通过对“谷歌”搜索引擎上网络广告的研究,试图浅析英文广告的翻译特点。在网络广告兴起的环境下,广告翻译在中国网络市场显得越来越重要。本文为了从科学的角度研究此类广告的翻译,归纳了50余篇在“谷歌”上出现的英文广告及其翻译。目的是通过此小型语句库,深入细致地从词汇、语篇及网络广告特点等方面分析英文广告的翻译特点。本文共分六个部分,第一部分和第六部分分别为介绍与总结,中间四个部分为本文核心, 总结出“谷歌”上英文广告的翻译方法,针对词汇特点,语篇特点、网络广告语言特点等层面展开分析。
