Abstract: This article starts from the definition and characteristics of the English public service advertising. Afterwards, it lists several very common rhetorical devices used in English public service advertising, analyzing examples to understand the beauty of language in the slogan, and on this basis, investigating English translation strategies of the public service advertising so as to grasp its own characteristics, to help our public service advertisements, for contributing to the development of the cause of public service advertising.

摘要: 本文从英语公益广告的定义与特点写起,于英语公益广告中最常见的几种修辞格入手,通过举例子来品析标语中修辞手法所展示的语言美,并在此基础上探讨英语公益广告的翻译技巧, 以期在对公益广告标语的修辞手法运用与翻译中把握其自身的特点,帮助我国公益广告更好地借鉴国外的优秀公益广告作品,为公益广告事业的发展尽绵薄之力。
