Abstract：Translation, for the person interested in it, to some extent, is a piece of art, especially the minimal point in it, which can call our deep thought. With the advance of science and progress of society, in a language, peculiarly in English, such a complexly structured language, loan words play a very important role and gradually catch our closer attention to study. This thesis is written for the comparison between literal translation and translation-loans in China English. Through their analysis with definitions and certain examples, a better understanding of them will surely be made. Synchronically preserved, as some linguists said, translation-loans are not big enough to study, but its unavoidable taking-in makes them learnt necessarily. It is believed that every birth of a new thing would be a new sight in its certain field; the comparison between Literal Translation and Translation-loans in China English is one of them since there is no relative book or works generated elsewhere. This is a new idea birthed riskily from my green head. Having drawn some lessons and theories from some linguists, my thesis seemingly goes better and more integral, but still needs more theoretical materials to renew. Thus, a strong wish is still being bloomed for more valuable suggestions from correspondent experts for a better development of translation-loans in China English for the eye position translation-loans hold in Chinese English learning.

中文摘要：20世纪后半叶，科学技术以及文化事业迅速发展，不同文化之间的交流随之变得频繁深入。翻译，作为文化交流的桥梁，在不断地被人们吸纳的同时，也在各大学术领域中，以其独特的姿态独占熬头。随着翻译研究的不断深入，也为了更好地传达别国语的意义与内涵，翻译在其方法，技巧等方面都不断地得到补充和发展。其中直译与借译 词在中国英语中的应用对比就是值得我们更为深入调查和研究的一个新课题之一。所谓直译，就是在译文语言条件许可时，在译文中尽量保持原文的形式—特别指保持原文的比喻、形象和民族、地方色彩等。而译借，即外来语的翻译，外来语所描述的事物一般是从外国引进来的，或者是用本国语言不好表达的事物，是指音义都借自外语的词，它不仅引入了新的外来概念，而且还引入了外语的音义结合关系，被看作是将汉语词汇通过翻译手段逐词地借用英语表述形式。中国英语，即指说汉语的人们所使用的，以标准英语为核心的，具有无法避免或有益于传播中华文化的中国特点的英语变体。通过直译与译借词在中国英语中的应用对比的进一步研究，可使英语中的汉语借词系统化，中国英语规范化，使直译与借译两种翻译技巧清晰化，以助于英语学习这在学习英语过程中能更好的认识并掌英语这门重要的国际语言。她不仅有益于中国文明和中国文化的传播、能部分地弥补汉语在世界范围影响不大这一缺憾，而且还承载着重要的社会意义。
