ABSTRACT:This thesis aims to study the development of American rock and roll after World War II, including three main branches: heavy metals, punk rock and Rap and Hip-hop. In addition, the researcher gives the description of social influence and cultural influence of American rock and roll. What’s more, the researcher analyzes the influence on politics, society and generations of American rock and roll, and describes the conflict between the traditional culture and rock culture. Finally, the researcher summarizes the development of American rock and roll after World War II from 1960s to right now, thus draw the conclusions of the paper---the development of American rock and roll after World War II and the social influence of rock and roll in America.

摘 要:本文旨在研究二战后美国摇滚乐的发展历程，其中囊括重金属、朋克摇滚以及嘻哈饶舌乐三大主要分支，并对摇滚乐对美国的社会影响和文化影响作出描述。分析得出美国摇滚乐对政治、社会以及一代代青少年的影响，并阐述美国摇滚文化与传统文化之间的冲突。最后从六十年代的美国摇滚说起，把美国摇滚乐二战后至今的发展历程概述起来，从而得出此论文的结论，即二战后的美国摇滚乐发展历程与美国摇滚乐对美国社会的影响。
