Abstract: With the development of economic globalization, advertisements for foreign markets are valuable in the international markets. The advertisement of the production becomes more and more important and popular in the international market, and the advertisement translation has been a new translation area. In fact, in the competition of the international trade, talented persons of international advertisements are insufficient and Chinese enterprises don’t have enough experience in advertisement translation, it will bring some inconvenience in the international trade. For foreign goods importing, the advertisement translation of them is a path that we know about foreign cultures, technologies and characteristics. In the first part, the paper introduces the situation of the advertisement translation in the present. In part two, it reveals features of advertising English. The third part points out cultural differences in advertising translation and part four shows the methods of translating advertisements and how to achieve better translation.

摘要: 随着经济全球化的发展, 对外广告在国际市场中很有价值。商品的广告在国际市场中变的越来越重要和普及。广告翻译成为了一个新兴的领域。事实上,在国际贸易竞争中,由于在中国企业中广告翻译人才的缺乏,且经验不足,将会给国际贸易带来不便。对于外国商品的进口,广告翻译将是我们了解外国文化,技术和特质的途径。文章的第一部分介绍了目前广告翻译的现状;第二部分介绍了广告英语的特点;第三部分介绍了广告翻译中的文化差异;文章的最后一部分说明了广告英语的翻译方法以及怎样才能翻译好广告英语。
