Abstract: Public signs, as an important information available to the public, serve as a significant window to the world. However, in Nanjing, there exists a large number of problems in C-E translation of public transportation signs. Based on the current situation, this study gives an analysis of improper examples and puts forward some suggestions when translating C-E public signs. At last, the author sums up the whole thesis and reveals the limitations of this paper. It is hoped that this study will provide a critical insight into this problem so that the quality of C-E translation of signs can be improved.

摘要：公示语为公众提供重要信息，已成为面向世界的语言窗户。然而，南京公共交通领域的公示语翻译存在诸多问题。基于以上考虑，本文通过举例，进行错误分析，提出相应建议以供参考，并于文章末进行全文总结，指出本文的局限性。本文旨在增进读者对公共交通公示语的认识以及希望译文质量得到改善，使其更规范化。
