美国总统奥巴马2009-2012年国情咨文中情态动词研究_英语论文.doc

中文摘要：系统功能语法认为情态是人际功能的主要实现手段，表示使用者本人对事物认识的估量和确定性程度，通过情态系统中情态动词的运用可以表达个人愿望，要求他人承担义务，判断事物发展趋势等。

本文根据韩礼德情态动词分类将情态动词分为强,中,弱三级，以2009-2012年奥巴马总统国情咨文为例，通过统计研究美国奥巴马总统国情咨文中三种情态动词的运用以及文本词语搭配情况，一方面探究奥巴马总统语篇态度的强弱，另一方面让读者可以清楚地看到奥巴马总统在不同时期应对不同问题的态度与做法，进而通过情态表达的人际功能的分析，从话语中分析出奥巴马总统话语中的意识形态。
