中文摘要:幽默,简而言之,是一种语言表达的艺术,人们根据自己对生活的独特理解,以简洁、生动、形象、风趣的语言形式或肢体动作来表达看法或观点,在实际日常交际中起着举足轻重的作用,不仅能调节人们的社会关系、愉悦人们的心情,也是个人智慧的体现。
近年来国内外许多学者从语用学、语义学、认知语言学、话语分析等多角度,对幽默进行了深刻的研究和分析。本文以美国著名情景喜剧《老友记》为例,从语用学理论中的合作原则和礼貌原则入手,探讨剧中对白与幽默效果产生的关系,旨在让中国的英语学习者对美式幽默和日常会话幽默有更深刻的理解,并恰当地运用到日常会话中,从而提高会话质量,同时也能更好地理解美国文化。
