中文摘要: 《秘密花园》是美国女作家弗朗西丝·霍奇森·伯内特的代表作之一,自1911年出版以来,学术界就对此书从女性主义、象征主义、儿童教育等方面展开研究。近年来,随着生态环境的进一步恶化及生态运动的发展和成熟,书中所描述的和谐生态发展模式引起了人们的关注,由生态批评出发的理论研究也因此展开。本论文拟采用文本细读的方法,在生态批评的背景下以生态三分法为理论依据,围绕自然生态,社会生态和精神生态三个方面对小说进行解读,试图探明《秘密花园》中所蕴含的对人与自然、人与社会及人与自我和谐关系的追求。本论文力求拓宽对《秘密花园》在生态研究方面的视野,对21世纪的生态建设起到借鉴和教育意义,并希望为其他文学著作在此方面的研究提供参照。
