ABSTRACT:American cowboy culture and Chinese martial art culture are very famous and popular. Cowboy culture is always passionate, free and unrestrained in people`s minds. Martial art culture is mysterious and profound. Cowboy culture stands for traditional American spirit of pioneers and core value of American Dream; martial art culture expresses the essence of Chinese martial arts and traditional feudal culture.
In Shanghai Noon, these two cultures are successfully combined together. Audience can feel two cultures in one movie. Jackie Chan and Wilson, two actors, stand for martial art and cowboys; their conflicts, friendship and conversations expressed the differences and similarities of the two cultures.
This study will use Shanghai Noon as the main line to express and analyze cowboy culture and martial art culture in the movie. Through the analysis, the thesis aims to give a detailed interpretation of two cultures as many as possible, and help readers to rebuild ideas of connotations and the practical significance of two cultures.

摘要: 美国牛仔文化和中国武侠文化是两种非常著名而流行的文化。美国牛仔文化是自由不羁，充满激情，奔放豪爽；中国武侠文化则是神秘莫测，博大精深。美国牛仔文化代表了美国的传统拓荒者精神和“美国梦”的核心价值，中国武侠文化则象征着中国的传统封建文化和传统武术精髓。
电影《上海正午》成功地将两种不同文化聚集在一起，让观众在一部电影里同时领略两种文化。成龙和威尔逊饰演的角色分别代表了武侠和牛仔，他们的冲突，友谊，对话，都反映了两种文化的不同和相同点。
本文将以电影《上海正午》为主线，对其表现的美国牛仔文化和中国武侠文进行阐述和分析，以期能比较直观地解读牛仔文化和武侠文化，便于读者更清晰地认识和理解两种文化的内涵和现实意义。
