摘要：改革开放三十年来，中国的经济得到快速发展，然而人民币在国际上的认可程度还很低，这与中国的经济地位是极不相符的。并且中国对世界贸易的参与程度越来越深，以外币结算的体系也令中国的外贸企业承担了过多的汇率风险，这不仅有碍中国维护自身权益，也妨碍了中国积极参与国际事务。所以，人民币的国际化对中国经济的可持续发展显得越来越必要。首先，本文通过回顾国外的文献阐明了国际货币的概念和货币国际化的条件，接着简要说明了人民币国际化的现状和存在的不足。因为日本的经济和中国有着极大的相似性，所以本文分析了日元国际化进程的特点和其中的一些失误，再结合中国的实际情况说明人民币国际化应该选择的策略和应该避免的陷阱。通过研究本文作者认为，人民币国际化首先要深化金融体制改革，谨慎地开放国内资本市场，同时要推进香港人民币离岸市场和上海国际金融中心的建设，增加市场微观主体的竞争力也是一个必不可少的条件。

Abstract: In the years after reform and opening, Chinese economy develops fast, while the international recognition of RMB does not match with China's economic status. What’s more, settlement in foreign currency makes Chinese enterprises bear more exchange rate risk. That not only prevents China from safeguarding its right, but also hinders Chinese active participation in international affairs. So RMB internationalization becomes more and more important to the sustainable development of Chinese economy. Firstly, we review foreign literature and clarified the concept of international monetary and the conditions of monetary internationalization. Then we briefly explain the status and deficiency of RMB internationalization. Because Japan’s economy has great similarities with China’s, the essay researches carefully the mistakes of the Yen internationalization and combines with the real situation in China, as a result the essay shows what strategy China should choose and what trap China should avoid. Through studying the author thinks that RMB internationalization firstly needs to reform the financial system deeply, at the same time China should carefully open domestic capital market, and increasing the competitiveness of enterprise is also a requirement.
