Abstract：In July 2010, 360 laps, Ants Network have unfortunately closed down, giving the industry a huge shock. Even the flows of those leaders of China SNS , such as Kaixin , Renren, and 51 have declined in different degrees. However, outside, the first social networking site in the world , Facebook ,is challenging Google and Microsoft by virtue of its technology.

　　In 6 years’ time, Facebook keeps on growing rapidly, by comparison, the domestic social networking sites are in deep trouble. Why? And where is the bottleneck in the development of local SNS?

　　One of its problems contributes to its more involvement in games rather than social communication; secondly, to the serious phenomenon of homogenization of those local SNS and the slowdown in subscriber growth; and thirdly , to its over-reliance on ads and the vague profit model.
