Abstract
This dissertation focuses on four marriages in Pride and Prejudice in England of 18th to 19th. The thesis analyzes the marriages through the four couples’ wealth background and family background and pay attention to Elizabeth and Darcy. The thesis analyzes the different marriage views in this novel through their wealth background, social status, sexual attraction and love., which can make readers know what is true love and think how to choose the best marriage.
