中文摘要：本文旨在分析英汉两种语言中衔接与连贯的主要手段，以找出两者的异同及其对翻译理论与实践的影响。衔接与连贯是语篇研究的核心，本课题立足于韩礼德和哈桑夫妇于《英语的衔接》一书中提出的英语中的五种衔接手段，研习简·奥斯汀的《傲慢与偏见》及其译本（孙致礼译本），分析归纳英语的各种衔接手法怎样用地道的中文表达，提出初步的翻译意见。具体分为以下几个部分：首先，简介韩礼德提出的五种英语语篇衔接手段。第二，概述汉语中用于语篇衔接的几种方法。第三，简要分析一下英汉两种语言的基本特点及差异。最后，本文着重以《傲慢与偏见》为例对比分析英汉两种语言中衔接手法的异同，并归纳总结英译汉过程中衔接手段的转换方法，提出初步的翻译意见。
