Earlier researches on lexical chunks in China were mainly about its definition and classification, while this paper focuses on the significance of lexical chunks on interpretation learning and teaching, and both two experiments are conducted among sixty-six junior students in the university. The results show that:1) the strategy of the lexical chunks introduced in the classroom have a positive impact on students’ interpretation performance;2)students’ English proficiency are different and have different problems when handling the interpretation test;3)lexical chunks should be introduced into interpretation class and the interpretation training pattern should alter while involving the chunks strategy.
