Abstract
Now, with the economic and social development, English education in China has aroused widespread concern. Increasing the cultural education in English education has become a top priority. To increase the teaching of culture in English education is not only to master a foreign language, but more importantly, the second language becomes a useful tool for learners to explore the world in the past time, the theory of cultural and educational research numerous. In theory, it has made gratifying achievements. In this dissertation, how to increase the cultural awareness of English teaching conducted a further study. It roughly summaries the definition of culture and language .It has made recommendations on how to increase cultural awareness in teaching. Finally, the importance of increasing cultural awareness in English teaching is briefly stated. Hope this article can provide some help to the future English teaching.
