Abstract
Role play is a student-centered teaching method. It enhances the teaching interaction and lets students participate in activities actively. The topic of this thesis is how to apply it successfully in English class teaching and give full play to its maximum advantage. At present, application of role play in English class in our country is mainly embodied through classroom interaction in primary school, but it still has a great development space for role play to improve the effectiveness of English class.
