Abstract
The backwash effects of language testing refers to the influence that language testing has on language teaching. In the recent years, with NEMT becoming more and more important in China, people’s awareness were arouse by back effects of NEMT on English teaching in senior high school.
Based on advanced research on the backwash of testing in the past few years, both at home and abroad as well as the teaching practice of the author' own and also this study Mainly adopts questionnaire survey and other research methods, focusing on how NMET affects English learning of students such as students’ learning motivation, their focus of English abilities. There are some investigations carried out for English teachers in senior high school such as teaching-plan and the teacher’s personal development. Hopefully, this study can bring up some helpful and rational suggestions.
