中文摘要:英语听力作为“听、说、读、写”完整英语能力的重要组成部分,是英语能力在社会交往和实践过程中有效展示和应用的首要环节,也是全面提升英语能力的基本前提和主要途径。但是由于各种因素的影响,当下农村初中生的英语听力水平差强人意,怎样帮助学生提升听力水平,提高英语听力的效率,是每一位英语教师尤其是农村英语教师应该研究的问题。该课题采用了问卷调查的方法,针对苏州地区农村初中听力教学现状进行了调查分析,为农村初中英语教师研究听力教学问题提供了相关建议,对于改善苏州地区农村初中英语听力教学现状具有一定的借鉴意义。

ABSTRACT: English listening, as the important constituent of comprehensive English ability, is not only the primary part of English effective demonstration and application in social interaction and practice but also the basic premise for overall promotion of English ability. With the influence of various factors, students’ English listening level in Suzhou rural areas is undesirable, which has become the most critical problem for the improvement of students’ English listening efficiency. Focusing on the study of listening, the paper tried to provide some advice for both English teachers and students in Suzhou rural areas with the method of questionnaire and data collection and analysis.
