中文摘要:英语教学离不开词汇教学,没有词汇就没有语言。词汇教学是英语语言学习的基础和根本,教师应遵循语言教学原则,采用不同的教学方法,提高英语词汇学习的效率,最终实现英语教学目标。此外,初中生如果不掌握大量的词汇,就不能进行灵活有效的语言交际活动。因此,词汇教学的核心任务是帮助学生掌握尽可能多的词汇。基于此,本文旨在研究探索如何提升教师英语词汇教学策略从而提高初中生的词汇学习。本文提出了初中学生词汇教学所存在的问题,主要有四大问题,孤立教学、单词意思的不全面讲解、缺乏记忆环节、忽视文化背景。针对所存在的问题提出了相应的词汇教学策略,以期提高初中英语词汇课堂教学效果,激发学生学习兴趣,帮助他们更好的理解单词,从而提高初中生词汇能力、学习效率和英语教学质量。
