Abstract
China is one of the most ancient civilizations in the world with 5000 years’ history, so Chinese culture is broad and profound. But in Chinese, reduplicated words is one common language phenomenon and it is applied widely in the daily life and the literary work, so it plays the extremely vital role. How to translate reduplicated words well is not easy. Each language has its own beauty and the translation of aesthetic theory has preserved its beauty and achieved the unity of art, it has important guiding significance for the translator. This paper aims to introduce the theory of translation aesthetics, the change of words and semantic of Chinese reduplicated words and the function of Chinese reduplicated words to illustrate the translation of Chinese reduplicated words under the theory of translation aesthetics.
