现今，中西方因历史、文化、风俗的不同，在思维模式上也存在较大的差异。本论文研究和探讨的是《弗朗西斯卡的宴会》中关于女权主义的问题。在《弗朗西斯卡的宴会》一书中，作者通过描写主人公的日常生活和境遇，让我体会到女权主义意识会对文本的翻译产生影响,进而体现原作者的创作用意。
本次翻译实践中，选取的材料来自于《弗朗西斯卡的宴会》一书中的第二至五章节，该书为爱尔兰作家帕特丽夏·斯坎伦的作品，从爱情、背叛、复仇等角度，让读者体味现代社会妇女表现出的独特个性和鲜明特色。
第一章主要讲述主人公弗朗西斯卡发现丈夫出轨的过程。第二章讲述了弗朗西斯卡如何确认丈夫出轨的经过。第三、四章讲述的是弗朗西斯卡跟踪丈夫然后进行对质的过程。
本文就以帕特丽夏·斯坎伦《弗朗西斯卡的宴会》为例，从翻译的语言色彩的选择、感叹词的使用以及语句节奏的增强这三方面，得出译者的女性主义意识并不是根据自然性别来判定的,而且女性主义意识的强弱也会对翻译结果产生一定影响,并能体现作者的用意。
INTRODUCTION
Nowadays, because of a lot of differences in history, culture and custom between east and west, there is a great difference in way of thinking. The purpose of this thesis is to research and explore the feminism in Francesca’s Party. In Francesca’s Party, the author narrates the daily life and the situation which makes me understand the feminist consciousness will have an effect on text translation and author’s true intention.
In this translation practice, we choose the chapter two to chapter five in Francesca’s Party. The book is written by Patricia Scanlan which contains affections, betrayal, revenge and so on.
In chapter one, it narrates the process of catching Francecsa’s husband having an affair. Chapter two describe the details. In chapter three and four, it tells the approaching process and confrontation between Francesca and her husband.
In this thesis, we take Patricia Scanlan’s Francesca’s Party as example. In the aspects of language modifying, interjection and the rhythm of language, we can see the feminism consciousness of the translator does not depend on the gender and the Feminism consciousness will greatly influence the translation.
