Abstract：In international settlement, it is very common in recent years that beneficiaries can not receive payment successfully sometimes and suffer direct financial losses because of their lack of understanding of the items in L/C special clause. Therefore, this dissertation analyzes the linguistic features of L/C special clause and its translation. Based on the analysis of data, the dissertation firstly conducts a systemic analysis of the linguistic features of L/C special clause from lexical level and syntactic level, and then comes up with the translation principles and strategies. It is hoped that this study can help foreign trade salesmen have a good recognition and interpretation of L/C special clause and thus provide some convenience for them at work.

摘要：在国际结算中，近年来普遍因受益人缺乏对信用证特别条款的了解，使得受益人有时不能成功收汇，造成了直接的经济损失。为此，本文将分析信用证特别条款的语言特点及其翻译。在分析语料的基础上，本文首先从词汇和句法层面上对信用证特别条款的语言特点进行了系统的分析，然后提出了信用证特别条款的翻译原则及策略。希望本文的研究能使外贸人员更好地了解和认识信用证特别条款，从而提供一些工作上的便利。
