Abstract:This paper analyzes and guides the translation of business letters by using the Text Typology Theory. In chapter one, the author mainly introduces three famous translation theorists’ Text Typology Theory. In chapter two, the author wants to tell readers the function, the layout and the language features of business letters. In chapter three, the author combines theory with practice, and analyzes and guides the translation of three types of business letters. By writing this paper, the author wants to prove that there are different ways in translating different types of business letters.
