ABSTRACT
Recent years, with the rapid development of social network, its language has shown many distinguished features and attracted the attention of a lot of language researchers. This paper, based on the former research and taking Renren as an example, adopts a corpus-based cluster analyze method to study and discuss the stylistic features of social network language. After analyzing the four-word clusters of the collected materials, the paper classifies the most frequently appeared fifty ones both structurally and functionally and then discusses and analyzes the reasons for these results and finally finds that social network language is actual life originated, a combination of concise forms and complicated meanings, as well as a platform for personal emotion expression.
