Abstract
With the advance of the information age and under the trend of global economic integration, the world economic activities increase frequently. Therefore, English business news has become an important economic newsletter, thus accurate and efficient reading of economic news is particularly important. Because of its special language features, English business news is too obscure to understand easily. Therefore, it is worthwhile to research English business news.
This paper will start from the analysis of the language features of English business news. Based on the former scholars’ theories, it is found that many scholars’ study is too broad. Scholars tend to study the translation methods of English business news. This paper will try to analyze linguistic features of English business news through concrete examples, and put forward some practical reading skills, with an aim to potentially guide and improve the students’ and readers’ skill of reading English business news and to help them grasp the latest business news.
