Abstract:All the existence of language, the occurrence of linguistic behavior and the completion of language communication have a direct relationship with the function of context. With the continuous development of linguistics, people pay more and more attention to the study of context, and from different angles put forward a variety of research methods and theoretical hypotheses. From the point of English linguistics view, in understanding English, people should pay special attention to the integration and application of context. On English learning, people can understand the meaning more accurately through context, meanwhile can grasp the meaning of uncommonly used words quickly. This paper makes an in-depth analysis on the integration and application of context in the perspective of English linguistics.
