Abstract:Commercial advertising is an important part of modern life, with its special magic power, prompting social and economic development. In the import and export business, commercial advertisements play a more and more important role. Advertising not only persuades customers to consume, but also has gradually become one of the necessary means of social communication.
This is an article analyzing English commercial advertising features, using Halliday’s interpersonal metafuntion. This paper analyzes a large number of examples of advertising, and it attempts to show the use of interpersonal function in English commercial advertising. Advertising plays a positive role in English reading and writing, students are able to learn the relationship between grammar discourse and meaning, especially the interpersonal meaning by analyzing it. And it also enables them to see perceive the potentially complex relationship between writers and readers.

这篇文章从韩礼德的人际功能对英语商业广告进行分析。通过举例分析了大量的商业广告,阐述了人际功能在英语广告中的应用。英语广告的人际分析有助于学生的英语阅读与写作教学,让学生把握语法和话语意义特别是人际意义的关系,并且能够正确分析作者和读者的潜在的人际关系。
