ABSTRACT
.This paper will make an intertextual analysis about Anna Karenina and The Awakening. These two works describe a story about the woman who wants to seek for her love and freedom regardless of others’ feelings. Through the analysis of these two works, this paper will explore the true meaning of love—love is not only free, but love is also restraint. This research is meaningful, which can have a positive effect on forming the true love view of people.
