ABSTRACT
Intentionality is an important part of human's mentality. It has experienced an ever-evolving process. In the recent decades, both foreign and domestic scholars have paid much attention to the research of intentionality. It has become the focus of research. In this study, three pieces of news about hazy weather in China are research materials. These materials are researched in the intentional perspective. This paper mainly studies the difference of news reports. According to the news analysis, every report is written with an intention. In other words, news is a kind of communicative device of intentional attitude and content. This research is helpful to have a deep understanding of intentionality in news report and an objective understanding of the news report.
