Abstract:Agatha Christie was a famous British female detective novelist, playwright, and one of the three great masters of mystery literature, she was known as the queen of mystery novels. With her unique artistic charm, she initiated the "golden age" in the history of detective stories. Crooked House is a classic Agathan detective story which is about the locked room mystery. Setting of this novel is in the house, the location is England, three generations of the Leonides live together in a large, somewhat crooked looking house called “Crooked House”. Aristide Leonides, the owner of this house was extremely rich and was found dead at his home..
According to Freud's personality structure theory and Josephine's living environment, this thesis interprets her personality manifestations in this work, and then analyzes the reasons.Through the analysis of the characters' "id", "ego" and "superego", we can gradually realize that "id" is like a big pot of boiling instinct and desire. The living environment affects the needs of the “ego”. The stability of the external and family environment is closely related to the "superego". In a word, children's living environment is an important factor affecting their personality
The purpose of analyzing the character image through Freud’s personality structure theory is to understand the changes of children's psychological development and gives some enlightenment to their personality education, so as to create a healthy and positive environment for children and achieve the harmonious unity of the id,ego and superego.
