Abstract:Based on some researches before and the status quo of English learning in China, this thesis selects “English original sounds films with double subtitles and China’s English teaching” as a study theme. It analyzes the reasons why Chinese students’ English level are generally weak, as well as putting forward the advantages of English original sounds films with double subtitles in English learning, with an aim to helping Chinese students, this paper would make them better use of English original sounds films with double subtitles to learn and improve their English competence. Meanwhile, it puts forward using English original sounds films with double subtitles as an efficient learning material for Chinese students in English learning, and tries to give some suggestions to help students learning efficiently. With this, this thesis hopes to provide a new direction for students to improve their English studying.
