摘要:虽然多年呼吁保护四合院, 但也希望能尽快迁出四合院。从各种角度讲, 四合院不可大拆, 只需加以整治.整治的原则应是全面改善百姓的生活, 使四合院得以长久保存。研究制定不同区域内的四合院危房维修、改造、保护和利用方案。在北京旧城内，对不同地域的四合院建筑应有不同的保护要求，如：处于旧城中心区的四合院与城市边缘地带的四合院、历史文化街区的四合院与一般传统平房的四合院建筑，因在历史名城的不同地域中发挥着不同的影响与作用，因此在保护上要有不同的要求。一般来讲，因地域上的差异，对全市四合院的保护标准与方式不搞一刀切，特别是对旧城内的40片历史传统街区的四合院，要严格按照历史街区保护管理的有关规定，不得拆除、改建原有的传统建筑。对年久失修的危破房屋的修缮，要采用传统材料和工艺，按其建筑原状维修并保持和恢复其传统外观。而对于一般平房区内四合院建筑的维修，一般不做纯复古式.的要求，在其建筑内，除可增建卫生间、厨房及各种市政设施外，还可以充分利用地下空间，增建地下室等。在院落的利用上，可在不影响建筑格局和区域景观的前提下，可以营建下沉式院落或增加庭院式罩棚等等，以满足和适应不同使用功能的需要。
