[摘要]：《金瓶梅》是我国第一部由个人创作的长篇白话小说，产生在明代隆庆至万历年间。它的出现标志着我国古典小说的发展步入了一个新的阶段，在中国小说发展史上有着不容忽视的特殊地位。它以极其细致入微的笔墨描绘出明代后期腐朽透顶的典型社会环境中的典型人物，从而揭示出这个社会的种种黑暗和罪恶。
《金瓶梅》原稿书名《金瓶梅传》，是在潘金莲，李瓶儿，庞春梅三位女性人物名字中各取一个字而成。此书本是以西门庆为主人公，而作者却用三位女性的名字标书名，这说明作者十分重视他塑造的这三个人物形象在书中的地位。现本文拟以西门庆，潘金莲，李瓶儿，庞春梅为对象，就他们的人物形象，人格心理以及之间的人物关系进行浅显的分析与探究。
