Abstract: This paper adopts lots of examples to show problems existing in the translation of public signs in scenic spots, such as linguistic mistakes, pragmatic mistakes, and cultural differences. In the end, this paper offers some measures that can solve those problems, for example improve public sign translation norms and standards, borrow, and aim at the target readers. Hoping to improve the translation quality of public signs and promote the development of tourism.
