Abstract:People are paying constant attention to the emotional factors in foreign language learning, anxiety has become one of the major issues in which linguists are interested. Today, there are more and more English learners in China. Thus, the study of anxiety in English class has important theoretical significance and practical value. In this study, it took a literature review and interviews. The results of the research show that the existence of junior high school English classroom anxiety, some students in a high anxiety state; there are three aspects: lack of self-confidence is one of the major sources of anxiety; followed by the poor listening comprehension and anxiety of English examination. This paper analyzes the causes of junior high school students' language anxieties in English class and find out their corresponding teaching strategies.

中文摘要:随着人们对外语学习中情感因素的不断关注,焦虑作为其中一个重要方面已成为语言学家们热衷研究的问题之一。如今我国英语学习者越来越多,因此,对于英语课堂焦虑的研究具有重要的理论意义和现实价值。本研究采用了文献综述和访谈两种方法。研究结果显示:初中英语课堂中确实存在焦虑,部分学生处于高焦虑状态;在产生英语课堂焦虑的三个原因中,缺乏自信心是英语课堂焦虑的主要来源之一;其次是听力理解能力差和对英语考试的焦虑。通过访谈本文深入分析了英语课堂焦虑的原因,针对这些原因提出了降低初中生英语课堂焦虑的教学策略。
