Abstract: The birth and development of multimedia technology provide us with a new opportunity and hope for English teaching. Multimedia assisted English teaching renews our English teaching aid. While on the other hand, because our multimedia assisted English teaching is still at the first stage and our multimedia skills are immature, many problems broke out during our multimedia assisted English teaching. By consulting the relevant literatures and combined with the questionnaire for the teachers and students of Jianfeng Middle School in Qingchuan, Guangyuan, the writer of the thesis will systematically elucidate the problems. To make better use of the multimedia assisted English teaching, the thesis will discuss and analyze the problems, and come up with some suggestions.
