Abstract
From 1980s to 21st century, the experts of all nations in this filed are devoting themselves to researching on the differences between eastern and western family education, comparing these two different education phenomenon, hoping that they can absorb what is best to develop for better progress. With the development of social civilization, all round people are valued by the society, for what the society needs is freshness and vitality young people. In the west, parents pay attention to cultivate children’ s independence and practical abilities, creativeness included. However, the east is the opposite situation, the utilitarian attitude often contributes to a pessimistic way of thinking, which stresses material instead of the spiritual values. Furthermore, It is often the parents’ fondness to kids that they lack the atmosphere of learning and family education.
