Abstract
Emma is the most mature novel in artistic ideology which fully displays the writer’s aesthetic sentiment and writing attitude. Jane confesses that Emma has the most similar personalities with her. This thesis analyses and dissects the primary coverage, the writer’s experience, the writing background of Emma and the views of values and causes of values that Emma represents, to know more about Jane who sits as equals at the same table with Shakespeare.
