Abstract
Charlotte Bronte, a representative writer of English critical realism in the 19th century, wrote the masterpiece Jane Eyre, which depicts a story of an orphan who had been maltreated since she was a little girl. Nevertheless, not only did she never give up fighting against the fate, but also succeeded in being independent and self-respecting. She successfully creates a new woman image, Jane Eyre, who dares to struggle against the unfair fate and purchase happiness, freedom and love.
