中文摘要：进入21世纪以来，谚语的使用变的越来越流行，也被用到教学材料当中。对中国学生来说，英汉谚语的使用是很难的。但是现在很多学生会在自己的作文或者论文中使用英汉谚语，因为谚语简短精炼并能清楚表达想法。近几年来，英汉谚语的翻译也成为考试的内容。为了帮助更多的学生能够更好地做好英汉谚语地互译，许多专家也提出了比较有效的方法。本文通过学习英汉谚语的知识，对它们的相同和不同进行分析比较，最后归纳出好的翻译方法。
