Abstract：The concept of intercultural communication is being given more attention especially in business interactions. Human communication has two forms: verbal and nonverbal. Nonverbal communication refers to all the communicative actions except verbal ones; it is so important that it determines whether human interaction can be achieved successfully or not. In recent years, researchers at home and abroad have attached great importance to the studies of intercultural nonverbal communication. Nevertheless, most of these studies have focused their attention mainly on business people. Therefore, this study attempts to explore the current situation of the Business English major students’ learning of Intercultural Nonverbal Communicative Competence.
In this study, we first did a questionnaire investigation to look into the business English majors’ understanding of intercultural nonverbal communication, then did a test to investigate the current situation of the Business English major students’ learning of Intercultural Nonverbal Communication Competence. After that, we analyze of the questionnaire and the test, and then get the result that most students still need to improve their intercultural nonverbal communication competence; not only the students but also the teachers and the teaching materials should give the rein to the students’ learning.

中文摘要：在商务往来过程中,跨文化交际的概念得到人们更多的关注。人类交际有两种渠道:语言的和非语言的。非语言交际指的是语言行为以外的所有交际行为，在交际中占有举足轻重的作用,有时甚至左右交际的成功与失败。跨文化非语言交际受到了国内外学者的重视，在国内也引起了学者的研究。然而，这些研究的对象都过于集中，以社会商务人士为主。因此本研究试图探讨在校商务英语专业学生的跨文化非语言交际能力。
在本次研究中，我们首先通过问卷以调查商务英语专业学生对跨文化非语言交际的认识，再通过测试调查学生的跨文化非语言交际能力。通过问卷调查和测试，我们发现：大部分的学生对跨文化非语言交际了解不多，对其他国家的文化了解不深，跨文化交际能力还有待进一步提高。我们希望通过本研究可以引起学生对跨文化交际的重视，并针对老师和学生提出的一些关于提高跨文化非语言交际能力的见解，着力培育自身跨文化非语言交际能力的才华。
