Abstract
Nowadays with the improvement of China’s international status, Chinese into English translation of political news stories from the cross-cultural perspective becomes more and more essential for our country. And it also plays an important role in the world cultural integration. From a cross-cultural perspective, this paper focuses on the translation of Chinese politics news. It explicates the cultural factors in current political news; discuss major problems in cross-cultural translation of political news, including over-domestication, difference of thinking patterns, historical features and events, provides practical translation strategies, so as to realize effective communication.
