Abstract
Human communication is the combination of verbal communication and nonverbal communication. As an important part of nonverbal communication, body language can perfectly achieve interpersonal communication as well as verbal communication. What’s more, body language is an important English teaching skill, which it is considered as a media of teacher-student communication. However, because of the effect of traditional teaching, the teachers always pay too much attention to the language points, which leads to the fact that they neglect the application of nonverbal communication .Therefore, this thesis aims to arouse both the teachers’ and students’ attention to the body language by introducing the application of body language in primary school English teaching.
