Abstract:The article first finds and discusses the problems in students’ English writing through analyzing twenty-five students’ writings. The main problems with their writing include: writing many Chinglish sentences, arranging sentences and paragraphs in unnatural way, having many mistakes and errors and most sentence structures are simple, and being unreasonable in essay structure. Based on these problems, the article then explores the solutions to improving writing skills: students should overcome the influence from Chinese, use conjunctions and connectors in writing, make the sentence in a flexible way, and get accustomed to reading and writing in daily life.

摘要:本文通过分析中文系和物理系二零零二级二十五位同学的期末英语作文，发现并探讨了大学生英语写作存在的问题：汉语式英语；句子段落之间衔接不自然；句子多成简单句且错误较多；文章结构安排不合理等问题。基于以上存在的问题，本文给出了一些对策和建议：克服干扰，避免汉语式英语；巧妙运用连接词语，使衔接自然；巧妙转换句型，使文章生动活泼；形成良好的阅读和写作习惯。
